PRIVACY

Privacy statement

Last updated: 27 October 2026. We keep this simple: we only collect what we need, we never sell your data, and this website uses no cookies.

Who we are

This website is run by de Gaay Fortman Advies, trading as Discover Your Wild Self, registered at the Dutch Chamber of Commerce (KvK) under number 68958870, Schermerstraat 10 Zw, 2013 ES Haarlem, the Netherlands. Questions about your data? Email hello@discoveryourwildself.com.

No cookies, no tracking

This website does not use cookies, analytics or advertising tools. Fonts and images are served from our own website, so nothing is loaded from third parties such as Google while you browse.

Newsletter

If you sign up for our newsletter, we store your first name and email address with Sender (Sender.net, an email service based in the EU) to send you a welcome email and a few updates a year. You can unsubscribe at any time via the link in every email.

Contact, discovery calls and bookings

If you email us, book a discovery call or join a trail, we use your details only to answer your questions and to organise your trail. This can include your name, contact details and practical information you share with us, such as dietary needs or relevant health information for your safety on the trail. We use these services:

Calendly and Stripe have their own privacy policies and may use cookies on their own websites once you click through to them.

How long we keep your data

Newsletter details are kept until you unsubscribe or ask us to remove them. Details of participants are kept as long as needed for the trail and any follow-up, and financial records for seven years, as required by Dutch tax law. Like any website, our hosting provider briefly keeps technical server logs (such as IP addresses) for security purposes.

Your rights

You can ask us at any time to see, correct or delete your personal data, or object to how we use it. Just email hello@discoveryourwildself.com. If you have a complaint, you can also contact the Dutch Data Protection Authority (Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens).

Changes

If we change how we handle personal data, we will update this page.
